Bundled center and site expertise for the Central Plateau
Wincasa's Center & Mixed-Use Site Management offers comprehensive management for shopping centers, retail properties, mixed-use sites and building complexes, thus ensuring the commercial success of the various properties. In total, the CMSM department manages over 80 shopping centers and 14 sites at 12 locations
With the Bern hub, Wincasa already has the relevant expertise in center management in the Mittelland region. The existing potential is now to be combined with expertise in mixed-use site management.
Joining forces and regional strength
The combination of the two services and the resulting targeted pooling of strengths in center management and mixed-use site management is seen as added value for all parties involved. Retail specialists are paired with site experts who can successfully manage and develop various property types together. Felix Kubat, Head of Center & Mixed-Use Site Management, is convinced by this decision: " We are breaking new ground with this approach. We are combining the strengths of both teams and thus ensuring that we have an appropriately broad-based team with a lot of experience, even in more rural regions such as the Mittelland and for small to medium-sized mandates. "
Mandate win for Riverside in Zuchwil
Thanks to winning the mandate for the Riverside site, the new location is also responsible for an exciting large-scale project: located directly on the River Aare, a new quarter is being created on 170,000 m2 of land, offering space for a wide variety of uses and forms such as residential, leisure and business. A great mandate and a challenge, as Thomas Hinderling, Head of Mixed-Use Site Management, says: "The Riverside in Zuchwil is a project in which we can apply all our strengths and experience. The tasks here are geared towards the urban development of a district and therefore go far beyond conventional site management. We are very much looking forward to working with all those involved and are convinced that we can make a valuable contribution. "

Andreas Brunner takes over the management
Andreas Brunner will take over the management of the resulting, energetic and competent team. He has worked as CFO/Commercial Director for the Globus Group for the past four years, where his responsibilities included the finance and real estate divisions. Before joining Globus, he already worked for Wincasa and was in charge of Sihlcity as center manager. He is therefore very familiar with the requirements of the various stakeholders and, in addition to his many years of experience and various further training courses in fiduciary and real estate portfolio/asset management, has in-depth knowledge and expertise in the management of mixed-use properties. This makes him the ideal person to set up and establish the new CMSM location "Mittelland".
