Wincasa strengthens property management expertise within the Executive Board
Wincasa is aligning its Executive Board consistently with specialization: Gabriella Gassmann, currently Head of Services & Projects at Wincasa, will take over leadership of the newly focused Residential division and simultaneously join the Executive Board. Thomas Hinderling will continue to lead the Center & Mixed-Use Site Management (CMSM) division and, in addition, will now oversee all commercial properties within Wincasa’s portfolio.
By clearly separating residential and commercial properties, Wincasa is consolidating expertise and establishing clear responsibilities. Embedding this separation at Executive Board level represents the final development step of the new Target Operating Model (TOM), under which the focus on residential and commercial has already been implemented at branch level since 2024. The transition will be completed at the beginning of 2026.
Gabriella Gassmann to lead Residential and Mixed-Use Properties
The Residential division will in future focus exclusively on the management of residential properties, with a strong emphasis on tenant care. Processes, services, and employees will be aligned specifically to the requirements of the residential segment.
Gabriella Gassmann has been with Wincasa for over ten years in various roles, most recently as Head of Services & Projects. She brings broad, hands-on expertise in property management. With her move to the Executive Board, she will take on responsibility for further developing the residential business with a strong client- and service-oriented approach.
“My goal within the Residential division is to further improve service quality for our tenants together with my team,” says Gabriella Gassmann. “The new structure enables us to work in a more focused way and to further specialize our know-how. This also allows us to be an even more competent partner for our clients, the property owners.”

Going forward, all commercial properties will be managed within a single division. This will consolidate Wincasa’s expertise in commercial real estate, retail spaces, and Center & Mixed-Use Sites mandates, offering property owners targeted and seamless support.
“Bringing all commercial mandates together in one division creates clarity and efficiency,” says Thomas Hinderling. “Our clients benefit from specialized teams, standardized processes, and a single point of contact across the entire value chain – from marketing to operations and further development of their properties, sites, and centers.”
Thomas Hinderling has been with Wincasa for more than eight years and has served on the Executive Board for over three years, responsible for CMSM. He represents continuous development and clear market focus in the commercial segment.
“I am very pleased that we are implementing this realignment with internal resources,” says Philipp Schoch, CEO of Wincasa. “This ensures continuity, sharpens our performance profile in residential and commercial real estate, and opens up attractive development opportunities for our employees.”
