From concept to impact – the evolution of Community Management at Turm Areal
Community Management is no longer merely an add-on service. It is a strategic instrument for site development. At Turm Areal in Winterthur, it becomes clear how targeted measures, continuous on-site presence and the building of relationships can transform a location into a platform for exchange and collaboration.
As Community Manager, Vanessa Brupbacher has not only accompanied the community at Turm Areal but actively developed it further. The development of the community is based on a clear understanding of tenants’ needs and the willingness to test new formats. This has led to initiatives such as Lunch & Learn events, tenant lunches, afterwork gatherings at the Turm Areal pop-up, as well as various services, including sports activities on the site. In addition, she established a community newsletter to increase the visibility of activities and to foster exchange among tenants.
Vanessa explains: “For me, the impact of our projects became tangible when I saw how strong the demand for our offerings is and how much they are appreciated by a wide range of tenants. This shows that we are creating genuine opportunities for connection.”
